40 miles per hour on 4 toes!

This ostrich weighs in at apprx 125 lbs and can run up to 40 miles per hour on 4 toes (2 on each leg)! Notice this male has a pink neck which signals that he is ready to mate. The females are a grayish brown and not nearly as attractive as the males! The exact opposite of Homo sapiens, in Michael and Connor's opinion!
