It's a Small World After All!
While visiting Table Mountain today, a newly wed couple offered to take this picture in front of the African flag. The husband told us they live in Boston, we said we had, too, for a few years while Michael was at HBS. Turns out Catrine and her husband both just graduated from HBS and are in Africa working for ALS (African Leadership Summit) a non-profit organization sending hundreds of the top African students in the country to universities like Harvard, Stanford, MIT, etc. every year! ALS then requires those students to return to Africa to build their intellectual and economic infrastructure and sponsor future ALS candidates! This country is ALL about education so thank God for ALS and this awesome couple using their intelligence and skills to improve the lives of others! A pleasure meeting you...thanks for the great photos!
