"Yesterday"

Owen, our tour guide, kept referring to Apartheid, Africa's darkest period, as having occurred "yesterday". Meaning that apartheid was outlawed in 1990, a very short 22 years ago! Much progress has been made but still a long way to go because many blacks cannot forgive the atrocities that they experienced!
