Back in Dubai...40+ hour commute

Ugh...what a grueling travel day(s)! We departed the Victoria Falls Hotel in Zimbabwe at 10 a.m. for the Mwangaa airport in Zambia for a 1:30 p.m. flight - one hour and 45 minute flight - to Johannesburg. After a four hour layover in Joburg, we flew here to Dubai - eight hour flight! Thankfully, our gate was right where we exited arrivals terminal and our layover is only two hours. Then the much dreaded 16 hour flight to LAX where we then have to clear customs! All in, if everything continues on schedule, our commute home will exceed 40 hours!!!! Kids are miraculously doing great...unfortunately Michael caught a cold/stomach ache a few days ago and is now miserable and suffering )-:!!
