Shadow

Soooooo lucky...we "met" this spectacular leopard less than an hour into our first safari in the Mara! He is the son of the most famous leopard ever filmed/photographed named "Zawadi" (many movies filmed in the Mara feature her) and nicknamed Shadow. He is 3 years old and has assumed his mothers territory. Sadly, she has not been seen for over four months! Notice how stocky he is compared to his cheetah cousins who are built more like a greyhound.
