5 Prides (not Five Guys)

We saw three of the 5 prides that live in the Ngorogoro crater today! Very, very lucky according to our guide, Jacob! First we watched two females hunting a warthog but sadly no kill for the hungry lionesses today. About an hour later, we saw our only male (the one with the mane on the far left) enjoying an afternoon siesta with females in his pride. Then, our last two females were resting during the heat of the day right off the road, less than five feet from our jeep! The first found shade, literally, next to another safari jeep laying up against the tire and the last female was laying in the shade of an acacia giving herself a very thorough bath!
